Everyone grows older, its okay. But you should be completely thankful for your kids and the privilege of being a mother. I know people who have lost children or were never even able to have them in the first place.

That's sucks but you will get used to it, I answer to random kids calling out mom at the store.

My mom calls my dad "daddy" still. Not like in a sexual way, but as in "Kendall, daddy said he'll take you to the mall".Your husband probably got too used to hearing the word "mom" passed around the house.

My uncle calls my aunt "Mommy". It's not that big of a deal, and probably only happened because he refers you as Mom when he talks to the kids.
