Today, after months of correcting him, I got so used to my boss calling me "Alex" that I didn't respond to my own name several times today. FML

If it helps any, my fiancés name is Aman, and my nanas called him "Armand" for 4 years now. Makes me chuckle.

names Alexa, when someone calls me Alex or Alexis or alexia. I look them dead in the eyes and say that's not my name. they usually laugh and go oopps. ;P

My friend's name is Alexandra, but she's been called Alexis, Alexia, and Alexandria by teachers during attendance that she'll answer to any of the names I listed. It's pretty sad when things like that happen.
