Today, after months of job hunting, I finally got a phone call. They were impressed with me. That's when my son decided to throw a tantrum asking for food. After some silence, the caller told me they were looking for someone who wasn't juggling little kids at home and hung up. My son is 20. FML

Wow... Maybe you should get your son to work and pay the bills... AND FEED HIS GOD DAMN SELF.

And technically they discriminated and broke the law. Too bad you can't prove it though.

Dude drag your son to the recruiter right down the street and Spartan kick him into the office and into the army!

if he can act like a child, bust his butt like a child.

Your son is an idiot and that person was discriminatory. Double FYL

Take them to an employment tribunal, they can't discriminate against you by assuming that you're the primary caregiver

time to cut the cord and kick his ass out, are you going to let him drain your life like a leech.

So I did a little bit of research based on OP's posted location. And according to the nj.gov/oag/dcr/law.html# website, parental status is specifically not protected when it comes to employment. Housing, yes. Employment, no.

These people commenting..smh. He is not a child! He is considered an adult at 20 years old. Teach him how to cook and make him grow up! Very disrespectful of him! Being a whine-ass will not get him anywhere.

Hit him....over and over and over again... Please
