Today, after months of job searching I got a job interview. I also later got a phone call from the manager informing me they burned down, and all current employees will be relocated or dismissed, and that my interview, scheduled for tomorrow, is postponed indefinitely. FML

Well now it saves you the trouble of having to light the place on fire when they don't hire you...think of it as a win.

looks like some of the employees got *sunglasses* fired YEEEAAAH!!!

That happened to me too! Two weeks later I got a better job that I enjoyed more and it payed more. Good luck!

The place you were going to interview at caught fire? wow.

All those people that had jobs that suddenly disappear - screw them. But F your life for not getting a job you never had and may not have had anyway? Self-centered.

Wow, "the place burned down". Great excuse to not hire you, I'll use that in the future. It's like telling ugly people who want to go out with you, "Sorry, I'm dead."

I know where this is, and it actually happened. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10691999

I heard mc donalds is hiring ALWAYS

As others have said, why don't you take into consideration how they feel?

did it really burn down or did they just not want to hire you?

# 24 is right, at least you weren't there when it burned down, or if you started working there already and it burned down without pay, troublesome either way. Good luck job hunting
