You're the parent. It's okay to get upset with your child but set a better example by not calling him names like that. It does nothing for either of you. You completely deserve it.
You played yourself with that one. I get that people lose their temper, but try to avoid name-calling in the future.

YDI. I don't care how angry he made you or how you "lost your temper", you NEVER call your children hurtful names. Ever. Since he was so quick with the reply, it sounds like this isn't the first time this has happened. Parenting is tough. I get it. But you need to find a more productive way to handle your frustration. Name calling sets a bad example.
