Today, for my girlfriend's birthday, I got her an external hard drive and my grandmother's engagement ring. When she opened both boxes, I took her hand and looked deep in her eyes and told her to pick whichever she wanted. She took the external hard drive, even though she already has one. FML

Aw thats so sad... that was cute... well if you both were like computer nerds i guess i could understand the whole hard drive thing (but not really) she should ave picked the ring in either case. If she wasnt joing, give her time? but really, shes not "the one". You'll know when youve found her, she wouldnt even hesitate to say the ring. Good luck!

I think he knew she had an external hard drive already, and he was expecting her to pick the ring, but WHY would he do it anyways?! And some girls would pick an external hard drive anyways. Rewrite FTW.
