Today, I achieved a personal goal by completing a half-marathon for charity, despite being overweight and unfit before training. When I finished I cried, not because I was proud of myself, but because I ran the last 2 miles while being followed by kids on bicycles calling me a "fat cunt". FML

That's absolutely horrible I'm so sorry :( tbh I don't think I could've finished it if that had happened to me. You must be very strong willed. Congrats and sorry again.

Someone should have taken a stick and stuck it through their wheels and watch them face plant on the pavement like the little sh*ts they are. I don't care if I get thumbed down. Cruel brats deserve what they give.

Exactly how is this a "you deserved it" moment?

Some people just have an irrational fear/hatred of overweight people. Trust me; I've been in OP's situation and mocked for no reason other than to be hated for having extra weight.

It sucks that they did that but well done you for reaching your goal!

Those kids deserve an ass whooping!

I weigh 120lbs and couldn't finish a race if I tried. You are awesome. Ignore the selfish ignorant kids and keep it up.

Congratulations! You pushed yourself and achieved what you wanted to. You did a fantastic job and the bunch of kids sound like they might be some losers in life if that how they are treating people and criticizing someone for their achievements. You need to be proud of yourself and not let some kids on bikes ruin what you just achieved!

Thats is seriously sad and depressing. Ignore those little *****, you did something awesome!

I read the part about the kids saying **** and I automatically knew that this took place in Britain

That's so awful. Those children would not say that if their mothers where around. That's disgusting and rude. Those kids need an ass whooping.

Eh, I don't know. A lot of parents are pretty oblivious about their children's habits and behaviors. Some of them write it off as young people slang or "newfangled" horseplay, while many think their kids are perfect in every way and should be allowed to belittle others. The rest of the parents aren't even in the picture.
