What I find interesting about all of this is: Had OP been a woman who had been stabbed with a fork, the police would have been called and he'd be in jail for assault. Since the attacked is a guy, she gets to go home and cry, single, but not in jail. I think the double standard people have about relationship violence is just wrong. Sorry OP. That's terrible.

You dodged the bullet on that one. Much unfortunately though, you didn't dodge the evil plastic fork. But Seriously though i think it's a good thing you did that. if she got angry enough to stab you with a plastic fork, i would watch out in the future. It may a knife to you or your tires next.
