Today, I didn't feel like going to work, so I called in sick. Five hours later while out shopping, I got hit by a car at a crosswalk. Now I'm laid-up in the local hospital, really wishing I was with the guys at work. FML

People need to remember you don't have to go to work. sometimes you just need a day to yourself and for yourself, in the OP's case they now just have more than the one day they needed off!

If ur boss asks just say U were going to Walgreens to pick up some cough drops or if u were going clothes shopping just say that U had to buy some clothes for some ones birthday.
