Today, I discovered my water bottle had leaked and spilled water all over my backpack, ruining my notebooks, soaking my schoolbooks, and destroying my midterm portfolio. FML

Today, I tried to open my water bottle, which is like trying to open a pickle jar, and after several seconds, it exploded all over my desk and clothes. Then, when I was going to get paper towels and a change of clothes, I slipped on the puddle and hit my head on my desk as I came crashing down. FML

Today, I decided to be healthy and drink a tall glass of water whilst doing my assignment that is due in three days. I managed to spill the entire glass over my laptop. I flipped it over and used a hairdryer to dry it off. While doing that, I managed to melt my keyboard. FML

Today, while working on my laptop, I accidentally spilled a glass of water. I quickly moved my laptop out of the way of the oncoming stream. It fell on the floor and broke. FML

Today, I went to my local library to study. As I settled in, I dropped my water bottle, causing a mini flood. Panicked, I tried to clean it up with paper towels, only to knock over a stack of books, creating a domino effect of chaos. The librarian gave me the dirtiest look. FML

Today, I washed my backpack. Unfortunately, I forgot to empty that ONE little pocket inside, so I also washed 5 bucks, a mirror, some tissues and a notepad. Now my backpack is full of mirror shards and thousands of tiny pieces of paper-fuzz. FML

Today, I was giving a presentation at work but accidentally spilled water all over my laptop. I tried to dry it off, but it wouldn't turn on. I had to give the presentation awkwardly using my phone and everyone took the piss out of me and my shoddy performance. FML

Today, I noticed that my ceiling was sagging slightly. I got up on to a chair to look at it more closely, and I touched it. Turns out that my ceiling was full of water. It went everywhere, ruining my new iPod, phone, and all the things my daughter bought for university. FML

Today, in the bus, my Gatorade bottle's badly screwed cap resulted in my Jello being ruined and yellow Gatorade poured all over myself, the seat, and the floor. It looks like I pissed myself, and I still have to go through a whole building where several of my colleagues live before making it home. FML

Today, after the two week winter break, I went back to school to find that the bookbag that I'd left in my car was covered in some creepy, pink gooey stuff. Under the freezing conditions, my lotion had exploded all over my notes and bag. FML

that happened also to me, with a banana :( my mum wanted me to be healthy so she snuck a banana into my bag without telling me, and of course, my books squished it so everything was sticky and brown :/ and smelly...

try having it happen 3 times in 1 day on 3 diff. projects each worth 50% of your end of year grade then being told you may have to repeat because of this. then you can complain !!! fyl ? no I can guarantee there's always some1 worse off !!!

honestly I blame the crappy plastic bottles they have nowadays. not all but some have been redesigned to have less plastic. that's cool and all trying to help the planet but anyone who drinks arrowhead should know what kind of flimsy crap they are now. I can break one and spill it just by using my normal grip. if it was in your bag and ruptered fyl , if you left it not all the way screwed on ydi sorry.

that is why I keep my stuff in plastic bags it is water proof and it won't destroy your stuff the same thing happens to me but I had big freezer bags over top of them so nothin got wet :)

This happened to me yesterday, except with soda. There was literally a pool of soda inside my bookbag. I'm just lucky I didn't decide to store my phone or iPod in that pocket that day. Otherwise I'd have been minus one of those in addition to my wallet.
