Why the heck would you think it's a good idea to get a pet now if you're moving in a month?? Couldn't you have waited until then?
Since the damage is already done and you couldn't just simply wait until you moved, temporarily put the cat somewhere else in a carrier. Inspections don't take that long...
As an apartment leasing agent, **** you. It costs a TON to clean pet dander and oder from a unit even if they were only there for a few days.
No, **** you. As long as people responsibly take care of their animals, they don't cause any real harm. Your attitude is exactly what's wrong with the rental world.
No **** you I take care of my damn cat and all that comes with her shouldn't have to pay she's family to me I know that's cheesy or weird or what's but I really love my cat
Just hide the toys and food and take your cat on a drive tomorrow morning. We did that with our dog before we moved out of our apartment. They will never know.
Leave the cat at a friends or family members house hide the cat stuff in your car problem solved
Leave the cat with a friend or family member during the inspection.
Adoption? What place allows people adopting housebound pets when they are moving soon? What a shitty place...

So you couldn't even wait just a month? That better be a damn good cat.
Your cat? Not only did you find a cat that can write, but one that understands lease terms and is a dick.
