It's sad that it's tormented you for so long. A therapist might be a better idea than defense classes.
Probably, I had a guy at TSA inspect my medium format by hand since film can't be x-rayed. Out of negligence, he smashed it and me yelling at him automatically made me a terrorist. So guilty until proven innocent?
This is why I'm glad I never went to any of my high school reunions. I wouldn't want to see any of those people anyway. Sometimes the best way to deal with a bully is just be glad he's out of your life. And since I live in a city distant from where I graduated high school, that's not too difficult.
