How do you expect to get anywhere in life if you are not willing to put in any effort. That does serve you right. Why should you get the same grade as people who worked really hard and spent hours studying for a course when you sat around lazily and did nothing?

Maybe they copy off the friend all the time and did well. Therefore when this exam came around she got fed up and thought "why should I be the one doing the work for both of us?" and gave the wrong answers..
If that was me, I would have done the same thing. Yes it's a nasty thing to do but it'd teach them to wake up to themselves and start pulling their own weight, or gtfo of college because obviously if you're cheating you probably shouldn't be there. Im not perfect, I've been slack and left study to the last minute. But never once have I expected someone to give me answers especially if they've put more time and effort than I. If you don't study, you cop the consequences.
