Today, I found out that my boyfriend wrote 50 dollars on my gift card just to look generous, it's really only worth five. I found this out after I tried to buy an arm full of clothes. FML

Today, my boyfriend gave me a card for my birthday and told me to open it 10 minutes after he'd gone; I waited for 5. In the card was written, "It's not working out, but here's $20." FML

Today, my boyfriend gave me a $100 gift card for Victoria's Secret. Suspicious, I checked the receipt he'd left in the bag. Turns out he had bought it during the 2 weeks we were broken up for some other girl who rejected him, so decided to give it to me instead. FML

Today, my boyfriend asked me to pick up a few things from the store for him while he was at work. After picking up everything he asked for, I wasn't left with much money so I used $50 from my account. When he got home he then grumbled about me spending all of "his" money. FML

Today, I turned on my boyfriend's computer and saw pictures of all of my credit cards, front and back, and several of my parent's credit cards. I looked in his e-mail and found receipts for items which had been billed to me and delivered to him, including golf clubs and my birthday gift. FML

Today, my boyfriend came over with a broken engraved bracelet that I paid 50 dollars for. I was so angry but when I stated "I am going to call them and get a new one!" my boyfriend said back to me "No it's okay, I didn't really like it anyways." It was for our 2 year anniversary. FML

Haha, That's awesome. It's not the end of the world, but it's probably the end of a boyfriend. Guys are cheap and women are too expensive.

I'd be pissed, not only bc he is cheap, but because he misled you...did he think you wouldn't be mad when you found out? And $50 can get a ton of clothes if you buy them on sale. Old navy was having a sale where most stuff was $5.

It might not have been him. he may have paid $50 and the cashier only put $5. forgot the extra zero. i apoligize for my atrocious spelling and grammar. im too tired to use more than one hand to type.

Glad it wasn't me; I take hours to pick and try on clothes (I only go shopping once every few months, because I HATE shopping). But hey! This is MUCH better than the crazy lady that walked into a Burlington Coat Factory after stepping out of a limo, and screamed that she had just won the lottery so she'd by everyone a free coat. The cashiers rang up all of the customers, only to find that the lady was lying!
