Contrary to what most are saying, good on you for telling it how it is OP. That business was already floundering anyway if that have that hard of a time with employee retention. It was either get fired or get laid off. They won't heed your advice until their filing for bankruptcy. On the bright side, there's many corporations that do listen to their employees (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints) and not being a yes man will set you apart.
