Today, I asked my boyfriend to help me with groceries, since the last of my money went to last week's groceries. His response was to start a fight, then tell me it's my fault my daughter acts the way she does, which is when he finally got me to break down and cry. I'm pregnant with his kid, and I also pay 90% of our bills. FML

It's ok, OP. You can now point at the stomach in response to several things. "Why didn't you go to the supermarket?" "Didn't you say you were going to do the dishes this time?" "What am I getting for my birthday?" The list goes on and on.

Did you agree beforehand that you were going to do gifts? Because if not, there's no reason to expect him to get you one. Lots of couples ignroe Valentine's day. He probably got snarky with you because you put him on the defensive by demanding a gift when he had no idea you thought he'd get you one.
