3 hours to put the chair together. YDI
It shouldn't take you 3 hours to put together a chair unless everyone got a new chair & you did them all. Most stuff take at least 30 minutes including prep time. Did you not see you was getting fired? There had to be some red signs. I hope you can find another job & work on you chair building abilities.
You wasted 3 hours of company time putting together a chair, that's why they fired you.
That's too bad...hope you find a new job you can use that chair at soon...
What kind of job, other than at a chair factory, makes you assemble your chair? Every job I've ever worked at supplied the chairs already put together.
Most of the offices I worked in had the make employees do it. Same with moving and setting up systems when our desks were changed. Always wondered why it didn't do that.
take the chair with you! but then again 3 hours for 1 chair is kinda sad. no wonder they let you go..
Take the chair

If you spend three hours of your workday putting a chair together, I can sort of guess at the reasons why you were let go, to be honest...
If the new chair was the highlight of your job man then you shouldn't be too sad. Speaking of which though, your boss will probably take your new chair. Make sure you loosen a few screws...
