Today, I got into a fight with my parents when they called me a bad driver. Imagine their smugness when I had to call them two hours later and tell them that I drove into a pole. FML

Well you kind of deserve it if you drove into a pole. Pay attention more at the wheel, it could be a person next time.

I never understood why people crash into none moving objects . I'm hoping ice snow hurricane or some other force contributed ... You deserve it simply for having an argument and probably leaving pissed and driving wrecklessly..... Oh wait. Yea I am aware of grammar o those dense enough to come here for an English lesson.

Perhaps be more considerate of their opinions, and use it to practice being a better driver… so next time you don't drive into a damn pole.

Just calmly explain that its not your fault. The pole clearly had it in for ya and jumped in front of your car. If that doesn't work, blame it on them ans say you were distracted by the fight.
