Today, I got into a fight with my parents when they called me a bad driver. Imagine their smugness when I had to call them two hours later and tell them that I drove into a pole. FML

Today, I hit someone’s car and got arrested for a DUI. I had to tell my parents so they could remove me from the insurance. My mom's response in the background after I told my dad was "I knew it." FML

Today, my parents yelled at me for 10 minutes without letting me get a word in edgeways for getting a 48 on my test. They took my phone, unplugged my internet, and took my car keys. They wouldn't listen no matter how many times I told them, "It was out of 50". It actually was. FML

I'd say it's the other way around. It sucks with what happened about the accident, but they do deserve their parents smugness. Hey maybe that's just me tho.

depends on why you hit the pole. if an old lady fell in the road and you swerved to avoid her, i would say thats pretty good. if you crashed because you had the back end sliding trying to show off then thats bad driving. all depends on the circumstances
