Unless someone would etch in a profane word, I wouldn't bother getting a new paint job. Waste of money, and if someone did it once, they're gonna do it again.
The people saying YDI for paying $400 to sort the scratches out, are probably the same people who drive around in cheap, crappy cars. Yes, cars get scratched, but that doesn't mean we should just leave them scratched. Do you also never wash your car because it'll only get dirty again anyway?
@ number 3 do you have any idea the extent of damage scrathes can cause? anyway, if i were that person I'd br raging! after paying that money and it getting keyed, that is an fml in my eyes! lol
I fix scratches on my car all the time due to working casual at a shopping center. All you need is some graded wet and dry, some paint mixed with the code from the user manual and a hose. Sand it down and fill the body, Wait for it to dry then sand the filler down, respray over and it looks brand as new with some buffing and polish. Some people just need to learn to do work on their cars themselves and NOT get ripped off. I bet the mechanic/Body shop only spent $25 on paint and $100 on labor.
wow you gotta pay again

if it was one of your co workers, I'd find out who it was and waste their car because that seriously sucks. FYL OP
$100 for a car? do you walk with a steering wheel in your hand?
