Today, I got my dog back from my aunt. Rather than taking him to an actual groomer, I gave him to my aunt because she needed a few extra bucks. My generosity lost me $35, and gave my dog ticks and a bad haircut. FML

28, I know but it's the first time I beat someone to it.

Well played! It's a bit treacherous to use the "puts sunglasses on" motif, so that makes it all the more entertaining when it's done well. Bravo!

I was complimented by perdix. My life is now complete. (Note: I wasn't being sarcastic.) :D

Ah that'd be annoying. Well, you know for next time I guess :)

Well, sometimes groomers can be expensive but others not as much, my mom does it for about 15-20 dollars for wash and groom, and other little tidbits, but op I have to go with YDI on this one :3

Experimenting with tick medicine cuz ya know, YOLO.

What? "Lost me 35 dollars" as in, the bad grooming costed him 35 dollars. Not the way you're thinking of.

He could have said "Lost my $35" It makes a lot more sense to me.

But if he said that, he would be referring to his generosity as a thing, that lost his 35 dollars. As in literally.

Note to self: Never trust any Aunties.

I have to wonder how the ticks came to be...but honestly op... I totally get wanting to help out a family member, but next time maybe you should stick with a professional groomer!

It was nice that you let her try! But I'd go take your doggie to a vet to remove all the ticks and an actual doggy fur cutter (:

Your dog looks like Bill Gates now? Why would your aunt apply ticks if you didn't ask for them? Usually they are an add-on service like a scalp massage or a happy ending.

You don't get ticks from a hair cut FYI seems you have a bigger problem than just a bad haircut
