Today, I got several noise complaints from various neighbours about my "dog that won't stop barking". I don't own a dog, my neighbour owns the noisy dog. She sent me a complaint as well. FML

Offer to buy "your" dog a shock caller. That may put a stop to your lying neighbor filing complaints against you

Well at least you can just redirect them to the person who owns the noisy dog. To the owner herself, I'd just write 'nice try.'

Just take the dog. The letter is good proof that you own the dog, not her. Give it away to a farm or something if you don't want to take it and teach it not to bark yourself.

Haha why don't you just go to your neighbors who actually own the dog and give it away or send it to the pound since its YOUR dog.

Interesting. The exact same thing is happening to me. I do have a cat, but I assure you he does not bark. I solved the problem by telling my apartment manager to come on in and see, whenever she wants to.
