Today, I got stung by jellyfish. As I was writhing in pain on the beach, my dad comes up and asks me to be quiet and that I'm embarrassing him. FML

My dad poured beer on me when I got stung as a kid. Don't remember if it actually worked.

Are you stupid? A stinger is not a sting ray. Steve was killed by a sting ray, not a stinger, so this FML doesn't relate to Steve Irwin at all.

I've never heard a jellyfish called a "stinger" before, but I think that's a better name. More scary. But yeah, this FML has nothing to do with Steve Irwin, and even if it did, referring to his death as a joke is not funny. It's not amusing that his wife is a widow and his children are fatherless.
