Today, I got yelled at by a customer while working at a bank call center. He was furious I apologized for a mistake that someone else had made. I again apologized for apologizing. FML

This makes me think that I apologize to customers at my work to much. Mostly because I am apologizing for mistakes that were not my fault to begin with.

Bank customers are the worst kind. The only reason people go into a bank in this day and age is to inflict more misery on the poor corporate serfs that work there.

Fyl but the best thing to do instead of apologizing is look for the solution and be rid of that customer. At the end of the day that's what they want results and solutions
