Today, I had a formal complaint filed against me for being outrageously rude to a customer. All I did was tell a customer that she couldn't use food stamps at the movie theater. FML

Popcorn, Diet Coke, Twizzlers, and Goobers ARE food. But not Raisinettes. **** you, Raisinettes.

Just explain that to the manager and you will be okay

Some people (my mom) get pissed over the strangest things... I know you feel.

I would give that exact look that courage has on his face to that lady haha

....and then she furiously stomped out the door, while clutching her Coach purse and sped off in her Escalade with spinner rims.

And called her friend on her iPhone 5 to complain about it.

She was no doubt embarrassed as all hell.

Doubtful. Anyone bold enough to attempt to use their food stamps card at a movie theater knows no shame.

There really are people out there who think they can use food stamps for practically anything that is food. I work at Target and there are tons of people who come in there and try to buy the more expensive organic foods with their food stamps, but we only accept them for certain products. I get cursed out daily when I tell them this. My guess is that they're more embarrassed than they are upset that they can't get the foods they believed they could get.

Maybe if you're on food stamps and going to a movie then maybe you should get your shit straight.

That's a bit harsh. People on food stamps might be poor, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve a bit of entertainment every now and then. With that being said, the woman in this FML sounds like an idiot.

That woman and her ilk are what's wrong with the food stamp system! Glad to hear y'all don't accept them. The freaking snowball stand down the road from us does... I never realized snowballs were part of the major food groups...

Welfare already pays for their groceries, utilities, rent, childcare, car payments, and medical bills, yet none of that is ever enough. If she wants to see a movie maybe she should skip her manicure and sell her coach handbag...or maybe even *gasp* GET A JOB. But why should she when our tax money buys her lobster and filet mignon every night. The movies are probably not far off.
