You'll do better next interview OP! Don't give up
I hope that they were understanding! And if not, there's always next time!
Not sure if they will get a next time with them :p
Pretty sure she meant the next time OP has an interview somewhere.
Im sure they understood., and you werent the first to blank mid interview (and you wont be the last). Good luck
"So, how'd the last interviewee do?" "They didn't start off strong, but halfway through, they turned the whole thing around on me. They had me questioning not only where and what the job was but also who /I/ am. Where do /I/ see myself in five years? What is /my/ name again? It was impressive."
Tripartita, I love every part of you.
*blushes* Thanks, that's very kind of y—*notices username* Oh, I get it. Ha ha. Way to treat a person. :(
Too bad OP didn't get the job. Woulda made a great Nerve gas salesperson
You need to apply to work an Alzheimer's/dementia assisted-living complex. You'll fit right in.
and your point is?
You sound like my mom making a drug accusation.
Every interview I've had I started with "I'll be honest, I'm very nervous and I talk fast when I'm nervous and I've been working on my social anxiety so I do apologize if I seem jittery ahaha" and I've nailed every interview. They usually understand EVERYONE is nervous and if you sort of just roll it out right away, you can see their reaction and understanding and shake it off. You can also practice practice practice in the mirror! It gets easier the more you do it ;)
Just got an email saying i got in for the second round of interviews. Not so bad after all
OP, keep your portfolio tablet open on your lap w/ company name, industry, job title, and description written on it next time! :-) [Note to self: remember this note]
