It sucks having a fly in your mouth, but spitting your coffee all over your laptop is a bit over-dramatic.... (since you know, you probably had to finish the liquid in your mouth in order to take out the fly.)

FYL! You're supposed to check your coffee for bugs before drinking it. DUH! Everybody knows that.

Swallowing it would have been the much safer route. I'd rather swallow it and not ever know what it was than to be grossed out and ruin my laptop.

First of all, black flys are tiny and like fruit flys, only they bite. if it was huge and black, it was prob. a horsefly. they are about as big as a quarter and instead of biting you and leaving a huge bump. They take chunks. And make your skin itchy, bleeding and infected.
