If you were driving that badly it was your instructor's fault for taking you out on a proper road instead of making you circle round a quiet residential street or carpark or something.
No one is going to be a perfect driver on their first lesson, don't take it so hard op.
My first driving lesson I would like to forget...but you are learning don't take it personally
It's alright OP, I got pulled over the second day I had my license because I was driving too slow.
Grand Theft Auto buddy, you needed to hit him and then steal his car.
who gives someone their first driving lesson on a major road???
Why are all these nice encouraging comments getting downvoted? I'm starting to feel like I'm on reddit with all the downvoting trolls.
My wife was pulled over for suspected drunk driving on her first driving lesson. The cop came up to a window, saw a shaking 15 year-old girl and started laughing.

Don't feel too bad about it, OP. I'm sure that cop wasn't a great driver when he first started either.
You're not going to be an all-pro driver your first time but it still kinda sucks he pointed that out. That was a little unnecessary if you ask me. Don't worry though, you'll get better at driving with more practice OP!
