If you're in England then you should ne able to go through the NHS anyway. Look up Time to Talk, they helped me.
Money it makes the world go round
I've heard 7cupsoftea (app and site) is good. Also the website eheadspace helps young people (12-20) with mental illness and stress, I highly recommend them. But they're often busy so you might have to wait a few minutes to get someone to talk to.
i am registered as a "Listener" at 7 cups of tea! i recommend you to use it. most listeners are not professional so it may take you time to find the right one who knows what they are doing! my listener name is redpanda01 take care
Thought the UK's National Health would have covered this sort of treatment for you, OP. Apparently not.
Therapy being very expensive is one of the reasons I never bothered with it. Questionable usefulness is another. My beliefs are third.
How can you question it's use if you've never used it?
Maybe try to confide in a social worker or find someone in the community that volunteers to help people like yourself. And sometimes friends are a good outlet. Good luck, I know it's not always easy!

How would that even work? Therapist: how's life? dog: ruff
You should try the app "What's up?" It helps with many mental disabilities (depression and anxiety, just to name a few) If you search hard enough, you might find a therapist who would be nice enough to volunteer to help you out. I searched for one, and eventually found one who volunteers to help me. I hope the same for you. Good luck on your journey, I hope the best for you!
