That first sentence could have been 3 sentences. You should ask your mum to worry more about your english skills, rather than your swimming skills.

Stop clogging up the internet and just drown already.
I took 4 years of swimming lessons but still can't do it. I can flounder and splash, but I barely stay afloat. So I can relate. (:
Don't feel bad, I don't know how to swim either, and I'm 21
YDI, you could have signed up for an adult class. Actually most places, where swim lessons are offered, won't place a high school student in a class with pre-school children (sounds suspicious to me)
Well that's a good thing you decided to learn, it can be really useful (like, saving your life, for instance...). Don't worry, it's not a big deal learning in highschool. I'm scared of water too. No need to be ashamed.
Don't worry. If you don't know how to swim, you need to learn. You should have taken the lessons earlier. Your classmate is a loser if he makes fun of you for it.

You're in high school and you write like a 4th grader. I think your mom should spend that swimming money on a tutor instead.
you could have said "swimming" a few more times you know
