Today, I had to go take swimming lessons because my mom has a fear I'll drown and I'm totally afraid of swimming anyway and never get anywhere near water. My instructor? A high school classmate of mine. My fellow swimming classmates? 5 and 6 year old kids. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, my mom signed me up for a swimming class to show my sister there's nothing to be afraid of. Considering I'm 17, I assumed I'd be in an advanced class. Instead, I get to spend summer blowing bubbles in the shallow end with four-year-olds as my little sister cheers me on from the steps. FML

Today, my dad taught me how to swim. I had to keep doing a lot of strange movements to keep my body floating. While doing that, two 8-year-old girls came and asked me if i needed help getting out of the water. I'm a 20 year old guy. FML

Today, I learned a valuable lesson: Make sure you learn to swim at a very young age, or else you might end up a in a swimming class with a bunch 3 and 4 year-olds, taught by your crush. FML

Today, I was working as a swim instructor for kids. Teaching them not to be afraid of the water, I put my face in the water and blew bubbles. I asked them to try it. All of them did, except for one. I went right to him and blew bubbles again. He then said to me, "But I just peed in that water." FML

Today, I decided to go swimming. I knew my technique would be off because I haven't swam since high school. It was when I made it only halfway across the pool that the lifeguard decided to jump in and save me. I wasn't drowning or struggling. FML

LMAOLMAO. It's okay, I had sort of the same problem but I was 14 and my instructer was just a senior at my high school. It wasn't that bad since I was only.. like 5-6 years older then the kids. HAHA.

I don't see how this is badly written? lol I understood everything completely. You guys are lame c: But That's a legitimate fear, some people really are afraid of the water. You have to know you aren't alone in that fear. There are even more embarrassing things to be afraid of. But the 5 and 6 year old thing kind of does suck. Hopefully you're a better swimmer :P

I KNOW HOW THIS FEELS. TOTALLY FEEL YOU, MAN. Swimming lessons are important to take, though. Don't be embarassed about being the oldest... it happens to us. Everyone who's ranting on the quality of this FML, shut the hell up and stop whining about it. Damn, I don't see anything wrong with it. Purposeful redundancy is a big humor tactic, too. Do you guys ever read? 52, going on the opinions of other people is bad. If it's your favorite one, it's your favorite one. Don't base how you think on the comments of other people. So, the OP put 'swimming' three times. Oh no, it's the end of the world. >_> Honestly.
