Today, I heard a loud crashing noise. I ran into the kitchen to see what it was. My cat had knocked over my fish bowl and had my Beta in her mouth. After scolding her and rescuing it, I decided to clean its bowl. When I went to dump some of the water in the sink, my fish went down the drain. FML

Why didn't you put in the stopper or put the fish in a cup?

I'm sure your cat was pissed you threw away a perfectly good meal.

soo? beta fish cost like two dollars

YDI for having a pet your cat most likely want to it. It's the fish or the cat.

I have both a fish and cat, and both have managed to stay alive for 8 months together...

I have fish, a cat, and a dog and all of them are fine. It's all about ownership. If you don't want an animal doing dumbass things, don't raise it like a dumbass.

o my god stop with the ******* grammer comments nobody gives a shit

at least the garbage disposal wasnt on. poor fish.

people take things so easily now a days. ive never changed water in a fish bowl cause i was little when i had a fish. no big deal if you havent. anyways.....its a shame sassy didnt eat that fish mayne. it creeps me out anyways knowing it eats its own kind. haha. see you soon

...eat? No, they don't eat their own kind. They are highly aggressive to others of their own species and will fight over both territory and mating rights. Outside of breeding seasons, the males and females will also fight.

its probably still stuck in the u-bend. quick, go save it
