Today, I learned that Nyquil has such an amazing effect on me, that it won't even allow me to wake up to go to the bathroom. FML

No, 5. He woke up with the realization that NyQuil didn't allow him to wake up for his nightly pissing appointment, and was so irritated by this, he made an FML expressing his anger that his bathroom habits will never be the same again. ... Yeah, he wet the bed.

^ Er, rereading my last comment, I just realized it almost sounds like I was supporting date rape and was calling Op a douche bag. I was not. :( If anything, I'm thinking if NyQuil can knock a person out that solidly, (I wouldn't know, I've never had it), no one should Ever take it. What would happen if there was a house fire or other emergency? You might wake up only in time to meet an agonizing death. :( I apologize for the misunderstanding. Op, thankfully the worst of it was only a bathroom accident.

I've taken NyQuil many times, and I can honestly say I have never wet the bed. I'm extremely tired when I wake up to use the bathroom and I usually have no trouble going back to sleep but it does still wake you up usually. OP was probably overly tired an took it as a last resort.

#25, Nyquil can pack a wallop particularly for people who aren't used to alcohol. Perhaps, you are an occasional to frequent drinker, so Nyquil wouldn't flatten you like it would a tee-totaler.

The creators of NyQuil just created something called ZzzQuil where all it does is put you to sleep. And by "sleep", I mean comatose for up to 9 hours.

Perdix, I don't drink. A fact that annoys my husband quite a bit. He doesn't understand why I don't like alcohol. I am not the type of person that falls asleep easily though, so that is probably the reason. 49, Zzzquil is scary stuff. I took it and slept 12 hours straight. I even slept through my husbands super annoying alarm that he snoozes six times before he gets out of bed every morning.

I guess your cat is pissed that it didn't get its chance to stand Zombie Guard for you last night. Now that you've hopped on the Nyquil train, try Jagermeister! You'll get that same lovely taste and peeing your bed will be the least of your problems.

#38, that's not an unreasonable fear. My experience with Nyquil is that it is a very powerful drug. When I have a bad cold, it really knocks me out to give me a good night's sleep. Go to the bathroom before you down your dose and hope for the best.
