Today, I left work at 11pm. It was cold and dark, and I was anxious to get home, so I cut across some soccer fields to get to my car. About halfway across, the sprinklers came on. FML

Today, my car died after I got off work at 1am. All of my coworkers had already left and nobody could come out to jump my car. I had to walk the 3 miles home in a torrential downpour. FML

Today, my family went to a football game. It was a little cold, but then it started to rain. I wasn't dressed for rain and I'd left my umbrella in the car. My dad wouldn't let us leave our seats for the whole game. FML

Today, I'd stayed up all night to finish a detailed report. By the time I'd printed it I was late for work so I jumped in my car. Driving down the street, I saw my papers fly off the roof of my car. It was raining out. FML

Today, my football practice ended early due to severe weather. Not only had I misplaced my phone earlier in the day, both my parents thought the other had picked me up. I was in the rain for an hour and a half. FML

Today, I spent an hour in a snowstorm waiting for my bus to show up. After I got fed up, I decided to just clean off my car and drive to work. After I was halfway finished swiping off the snow and ice stuck to my car, the bus drove right past me. FML

I really don't understand why if someone posts an FML about something really bad happening to them everybody comments it saying 'If all this has just happened to you, why would you then come on the internet and post it' and just basically slaughters them for sharing their story. Yet when somebody posts something that isn't so terrible, but basically just unfortunate for them and a tad amusing for the FML readers they then get criticised because their life actually terrible.

so? last night i, along with a LOT of others, was at a football game, at night, in the pouring rain with no umbrella or raincoat, for over 2 hours with no warm car. Suck it up.
