Today, I’m an intern and was given a pile of files. Do I have to process them? Nay! Simply remove all the staples with nothing but my nails. FML

Maybe borrow a pair of scissors... But still, what a stupid task to be assigned to :/

On the resume, it will say "put in charge of project to mitigate hazardous metals in sensitive organic material." It'll be so worth it and toughen you up.

I first read "a pile of flies". So I guess it could have been worse.

what if OP is a scientist? *sudden flashback to biology with Mendelian Inheritance, Punnett Squares, and mothereffing fruit flies* morning classes where you have to think are such a mistake...

No employer here would dare risk the safety hazard of an intern like that.

Well, you're an intern, you are just a peon. Expect remedial and shit tasks. A butter knife is great at removing staples.

I read it in an Indian voice in my head and Nay sounded like nahi. Which is no in Hindu/Urdu

If you turn the papers over to the back and unbend the staples so the edges are no longer curved you can easily pull the staple out

And your not even being paid? Hell nah

I'm sure you can find some tool like a metal object to use instead of nails.

I thought this said flies instead of files and I was very concerned.
