Well my best guess is they're moving in so there will be lots of loud noise for the day.

Could be a woodworking shop or it could be a medieval torture chamber updated with power tools. You will soon be treated to the scent of fresh sawdust, or assaulted with shrieks and the stench of dismembered hobos.

Or clandestine meth lab and they happen to be smoking it too

they're probably just putting in carpet which involves lots of hammering. . . . . but I do kinda hope it's a meth lab :-)

That blows.we had some people living next door who had this dog who wouldn't stop barking, they moved out and now the new neighbors have TWO freaking annoying dogs.could be worse op

I remember being sick and people were drilling in the concrete wall exactly next to my head, the lvl of noise was so unbearable. I stayed with my parents till I got better again. Maybe you should to.

Can you take something, like the end of a broom, and use it to bang on the ceiling? I know that doing that will make more noise but I've seen people bang on their ceilings when they want someone above them to shut up.

I put up a wood shop in my condo above some neighbors once. They never complained.

My upstairs neighbors seem to be running a zoo.
