Today, I realized that acne is a major side effect of a medication I'm taking. The medication is to help me with my anxiety. The acne is creating more anxiety. And the more anxious I get, the more meds I need. And the more my face breaks out. FML

That's like saying "it's not the knife sticking out of your chest that's killing you, it's your vulnerability to stab wounds." The dude can care about how he looks if he wants to. Just find a different medication.

Deal with the freaking problems! Don't rely on some "anxiety" meds that prolly dont even work Use some proavtiv or something goodness

Either Change the anxiety meds. Take anything but atelenol, it makes your hair fall out. Keep on those meds and get some benzoyl peroxide or diffendil gel and put it on your face. I don't agree with all the 'dude just deal with life' comments, some people go through some severe shit that gives them underlying psychological issues, I been there. You can get anxious for no reason other than something going on in your unconscious that you got no control over. If that's the case learn to meditate

either switch your meds, or stop taking your medication and smoke more weed. i choose the second one. or get a script for xanies, those are fun hahahaha..and you know, actually work for anxiety.

is ur meds chocolate? cuz chocolate calms my anxiety and gives ppl acne. I don't eat enough for that tho.

Get rid of the meds and get a new psychiatrist!

if it's Lithium you're taking... get something new I was almost given that, but the doctor decided not to give it to me because of the acne side-effect there are probably better meds out there without physical effects

good luck getting in a relationship then... not only are you mental, but ugly

IT'S A VICIOUS CICLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Acne? Put a clean towel over your pillow every night, and clean your pillowcase more often.
