#55, YES. God, I hate lazy people who play the victim.
So? You're father has also been out in the workforce longer and has a higher earning potential.
you should be happy, i'm sure a lot of that money is going towards YOU
Guys, stop defending the Dad. This isn't an attack towards him. I have had the same thoughts before, but never found it to be FML worthy. I got up for work everyday for months, watching my Dad sit at home and collect 2x my paycheck in unemployment every week. Some days he would just laugh at me.
I can't believe how many people think it's a piece of cake to find a job, especially right now. 1 in 10 people in my state are out of work and jobs don't just materialize out of thin air. "Why don't I strap on my job helmet and squeeze down into a job cannon and fire off into Jobland where jobs grow on little jobbies."
yeah it depends someone who has a job on a salary making more then 20$/hr would make more on unemployment then someone who works for minimum wage, but if you make alot and its still more then.....wtf

My sister makes more with unemployment than I make with an actual job....it's just stupid.
Sounds like somebody doesn't understand how unemployment works.
