Today, I realized the closest I've ever been to being hit on was with a car in the school parking lot. Even then, the guy claimed he "didn't notice" me. FML

Today, after getting off the phone with a girl I'm interested in, I parked on campus and ate my lunch in the car. As I was sitting there, she appeared out of nowhere and walked to her car. I was parked directly behind her car, sitting there like a creepy ass. FML

Today, a guy hit on me. It's such a rare occurrence that I didn't know how to react, so I panicked and said "Sorry, I have to go!" Then I remembered we were on a bus, and just turned around and awkwardly pretended he wasn't there. FML

Today, I hit a car while trying to park. Assuming that no one saw, I moved my car and parked somewhere else. Hours later I get a call from the university police. While backing up to go to the police station I hit another car. FML

Today, someone left a note on my car, saying "You're gorgeous. Call me. #######." I called the number and they said they saw me in the store I was in, telling me "You were the ONLY attractive person in there." We decided to meet up. He walks over, I say hi, he says "I think I put my number on the wrong car." FML

LOL. Yeah because that solves everything. I can think I'm a great person all I want, and yeah... I am a great person. Doesn't mean that by some amount of magic anyone is going to just POOF decide to hit on me. And just because you wish it true doesn't change the universe. Also, there's a difference between getting hit on and getting hit by a car... so I wouldn't compare the two. It's like saying the closest you ever got to eating an apple was stepping on an orange. If that's the case though, goooood luck. Sounds like you'll need it.

Oh wow, it must really suck being noticed by the other gender. That must be sooooo much worse than being invisible to them. You know, i had a stalker once for like a month or so, and i actually enjoyed it because it was the only time a girl ever noticed i existed. I WISH that any one of them would try to start a conversation with me, even about something stupid like the weather, and i'm sure the OP feels the same. I get that you have a valid opinion for probably never having the same problem as the OP, but that doesn't make what you said any less insensitive.
