I have to wonder here if the OP really experienced this, or if it's a response to another post on FML saying something like "today I decided to stop signing so much, I am hearing but there is a girl who thinks I am deaf and openly talks about me within earshot. FML" or something like that.

Ugh. Pretty much everyone have said most of what I wanted to say, however, I want to add something else. You thought he was deaf, so you talked openly about him within his earshot. The fact that you posted this as a FML indicates that you didn't want him to know that you were talking about him. Really!? Why not just speak with your friends in private? That's not hard to do. I don't take advantage of the fact that almost nobody understands Sign Language at my college to talk about people. >_>

haha he might not have noticed. its hard to focus on sounds around you when you sign. atleast thats how it is for me.
