Oops I posted the same thing twice, didn't think it posted the first time, sorry new to this thing :)
No wonder people don't want to help anymore.
More than 1 car involved, the drivers would blame each other if one of them was the cause. Seeing as they both blame you, it probably was your fault, whether you were actually a part of the wreck or not.
nah, bro, things ain't that simple. you did more than assume -- you leaped over a grand canyon-sized precipice of presumption. also, your comment implies that people are not supposed to help others who may be in trouble, which could also be looked upon somewhat disparagingly. |the kid|
Stopping to help clears up all your issues, even if it's your word against theirs. Good Samaritan law covers your ass.
You are wrong. There is almost no state left that doesn't have it's own version of the Good Samaritan laws. I know that Iowa does have those laws.
That's nice.
How'd they get your name and number? You weren't so foolish as to STEP FORWARD as a witness, or try to help, were you? That never ends well.
I stopped recently to help someone who had turned over in a drainage ditch. when the police got there they went through the basic questions with the girl, including asking if she had been driving when the accident occurred. this dumb bitch had the nerve to say no, and told the police that I wrecked her car. I feel you pain, op.1
Moral of the story: Don't go out of your way to help someone, people are asses.
The solution here is obvious.. fake a back injury from "helping" the victims. Back injuries are the answer to potential lawsuits.
What!? Cars have memories?! Shit man, that blows my mind!
this is why alot of people dont pull over to help anymore cuz shit like this happens. im sure youl be okay though u did the right thing

Unless you were throwing rocks at people's convertibles, you should be fine.
Ah, justice at work.
