Am I the one only that thinks OP deserves it for trying to buy an iPhone on Craigslist? Why would you trust people you don't know these days...?
Your the dumbass who bought an iPhone through the mail on Craigslist!
Today, I'm in the hospital because some enraged man showed up at my door and beat me senseless because some asshole gypped him and used my return adress instead of his own...
That seems like the obvious solution! Unfortunately, since her husband assaulted a person, it makes the whole process a little more jumbled
A similar incident happened on eBay several years back... Judge Judy straightened the seller out.
Maybe he didnt see this trough completly but i really wanted to see that guys face xD kock,knock.. Its meee! followed by a straight punch =D go team!!
I always thought the advantages of craigslist over something like ebay was being able to meet with the seller in person so you don't get duped.
eBay will refund you. Craigslist isn't responsible for anything besides what's in their website.

you DO realize when shit like that happens you contact the local police and your money will be refunded AND with such a large amount the seller risks jail time
This is why calling the police to solve your problem is better than pointless payback via violence. That's for after you get a refund ;)
