Today, I slept on the plane ride home and had a scary nightmare. I started screaming in my dream, so loud that it shocked the old lady sitting next to me into screaming as well. The whole plane began laughing as we were both screaming. FML

Here's my original post on FB. FML condense make us condense it to 300 words :p aww man.. Just went through one of the most awkward moments of my life. I Just got off the plane from Taipei to hk, during the flight I fell asleep and had a nightmare. I can't remember what it was about. But, I think I was being attacked. So anyway, I started screaming in my dream, unfortunately that translated to screaming in reality as well. It was a loud scream as well cause it was enough to wake me up. The good and also funny thing is it wasn't just me screaming, there was this old lady sitting next to me, who I guess after I was screaming also started screaming.... It was like domino scream! Luckily I still had my eyes closed and realized it was too awkward and embarrassing to explain myself, I could hear people laughing behind me, beside me and in front.. So I just kept my eyes closed. Seriously , one of the most awkward moments I've been in, it took all my will power to continue pretending to sleep and self control not to laugh cause that old aunty screaming after I screamed was Damn funny... I did a muffled giggle when she was saying ... omg this boy scared me to death.. Luckily someone said quite loudly poor kid he must've had a nightmare.. Sigh.... FML

Seriously, though, this is my new favorite FML because reading it made me laugh so much!! At least the passengers were laughing and not yelling or anything :) Smooth move pretending to sleep ;P

this is one of my favorites! my brother was always scared to sleep in his room alone so he had his bed moved to my room. one morning around 6 am when it was still dark out he screamed in his sleep. then I screamed. then he screamed. then I screamed again. I thought he was being attacked but it was dark and I couldn't see him. then our mom burst through the door freaking out. apparently I was backing into the corner of the room, pulling my blanket over my head. my brother still makes fun of me for not "saving" him. this isn't the only time this has happened. recently he screamed and ran down the stairs butt naked. he's 16 now so it was a little awkward. he was still asleep when it happened and wasn't fully awake until he went back to his bed. crazy night.

At least it only turned out to be mass hysteria instead of mass panic on the plane. could of been alot worse.

awkward things happen all the time, just laugh it off and maybe next time you can look back on it and laugh at how funny the situation was.

You know one time I slept on a guy on a plane ride to chicago and my sister and mom didn't even wake me up they just stared at me and laughed when I woke up on the guys shoulder and he was staring at me lmao
