Today, I snuck into my boyfriend's house at 9am to surprise him on our 1 year anniversary. In the process, I gatecrashed another celebration he was having with his second girlfriend. FML

Not so fast....it sounds like she already knew he HAD another GF. I used to have 5 GF's, and 2 of them knew about the others but didn't care. They were only in it for the sex, and were happy not to be smothered w all the bothersome possessiveness.

It doesn't sound like she had any idea he had another or gf or it wouldn't be an FML and somehow i doubt that, that sounds like something a kid would say; its just highly unlikely and illogical that one average guy is so attractive, has so much time and is so sneaky to have 5 girlfriends.

Okay, the OP's life definitely sucks, it's sad that her boyfriend is cheating, he's a dick, etc. I still don't think it's okay that she sneaked into his house though. That seems like it's crossing a line. Unless she was given a key and told to come round anytime, in which case that's not really sneaking, just letting yourself into a house. I'm not saying she deserved what happened, just, damn, why is it considered 'romantic' to basically break into your partner's house without their knowledge? I wouldn't find that a nice surprise, I would be creeped out.

It would be creepy if she were sneaking in to watch him sleep or go through his e-mails or sniff his underpants, but not-so-much if they considered each other to be in a relationship with each other and she was doing it solely for the purpose of legitimately surprising him and only on an occasion such as that.

I dunno, if I hadn't given somebody permission, I'd find that creepy. And it seems clear he didn't give her permission, since he obviously was not expecting her.
