Today, I stepped out of a bar in order to make a phone call. While I was outside, the bouncers arrived and ropes were put up. They wouldn't let me back in, claiming I was too young and they hadn't seen me come out. I was celebrating my 26th birthday, the legal drinking age is 18. I also have a beard. FML

Today, my parents took me to a bar to celebrate my 21st birthday. They brought my little brother, but when the bouncer wouldn't allow him in, they made me wait outside with him while they went in for drinks. FML

Today, I went to a bar to celebrate my 26th birthday. I got ripped off by the bartender all night because she secretly gave me non-alcoholic versions of my drinks. Apparently I look like I'm 16, so she thought my ID was fake. Happy birthday to me. FML

Today, I went to the bar to celebrate my friend's birthday party. I gave the bouncer my ID and he kicked me out, saying that I should at least use an ID card with the correct gender. I'm 22 and female, he thought I was an underage boy. FML

Today, I got a change of ID. My old ID had its corner cut off and was given a temporary paper ID. I went to a bar in another town to have some drinks. Turns out I couldn't because they couldn't use my old ID or my temporary one to let me drink, even though I'm 22. I've been there before and I work at my town's liquor store. FML

Today, my friends and I went out for drinks. I'm the only one who's actually 21 or over, and they have fake IDs. Not only was I the only one to be carded, the bartender thought that my actual ID was fake. I got kicked out while my friends kept drinking. FML

Today, I got mugged on the way to my 21st birthday party at a bar. I begged the thug to at least throw me my ID, only to have him laugh and run away singing, "Happy Birthday." FML

Today, I went to the bar I've always gone to after work for the past 12 years. On arrival, I got banned for life, punched in the nose and thrown out. The barmaid comes out and says, "Sorry, wrong guy." FML

Today, a cute thirty-ish chick walked into the bar I work in. I asked her for her license to make her feel young. She didn't have her license on her and started yelling about how stupid it was to even ask, when she obviously was old enough to drink. She then got up and left. FML

I will pretend for a moment that you neglected to mention you left your ID in the bar for some reason, and thus did not have it on your person at the time. This is a requirement for this FML to not simply be evidence that you are the stupidest ******* person alive. I will not, however, pretend that you are so stupid that you also didn't think to call or text one of your friends to come out and bring you the ID, since you obviously didn't forget your phone. So either this FML is true, and you are so ******* stupid that you have no friends and have to celebrate your birthday alone in a bar in which you left your ID because you are stupid, which I don't believe is possible, or this FML is extremely fake and not even taking the time to create a plausible story. I will leave it to the FML community to decide.

He left his wallet in the bar with some chick he just met because she insisted that she wanted to just "look at his pictures". The second half of this FML, which he will post tomorrow, is that he not only missed out on what he thought would be a special birthday night with the girl, but she stole his cash and credit cards and went on a spending spree after he was denied re-admittance. And the bouncer is her boyfriend.
