Today, I stepped out of a bar in order to make a phone call. While I was outside, the bouncers arrived and ropes were put up. They wouldn't let me back in, claiming I was too young and they hadn't seen me come out. I was celebrating my 26th birthday, the legal drinking age is 18. I also have a beard. FML

Seriously like 22 said. I'm 16 now; the first time I had a full beard was last year in November (yes I was 15). Quit being so haughty by saying you have a beard because it's not an accomplishment and it's not like you grew it out at a young age anyways. Meanwhile YDI because all men have ID in their wallets and wallets in back pocket. I believe this was already said before, I just have the same opinion

It doesn't so clearly say it when a person is on the FML app on their phone. It usually just gives you the post and the writer's nickname, not the gender or the country.

A beard isn´t proof of age at all. I had a beard when I was 14. By your logic, I should have been granted access to Australian bars at 4 years under the age requirement.

my bro is 17 and can grow a beard. Your two options: 1) show him your ID, duh 2) if you left your ID inside, call whoever you were with (you obviously had your phone with you) to bring it outside so you can show the bouncer.

Where I live anyone can drink but under 18s have to be in privacy, you have to be 18 to get into a bar though
