I understand how OP's brother could think he was just trying to be irritating by throwing the eraser, however, it is NOT alright (under ANY circumstances) to throw a cactus at someone. I mean, a cactus? REALLY? That must've hurt. Sorry, OP.

I do realize there was no purpose to the comment but is there ever really a purpose? Just so people can type something out to a bunch of strangers to get their approval? Do you not have siblings? If one cactus is all he ever has to dodge he should consider himself lucky. Around my house growing up, you never knew what was going to be thrown or what you would be hit with. That's why I always avoided fights in the kitchen. Too many sharp objects.
