Wow, that really sucks. That's pretty much the worst thing a mother could say in that situation. I applaud you for seeking help, and really hope you feel better soon. To all the people who insulted you in the comments: Why? What exactly did you think you were going to accomplish by insulting someone you don't even know? Maybe next time you're about to post something cruel, you should remember that you're attacking a human being, not just a bunch of text.

hey hun im feeling your pain. my depression has recently gotten worse, and even though my parents know im depressed, my dad had it for a while and is just getting better, but whenever i call them with a problem they just get angry with me. i know that i am quite often bitchy towards them but im going to be honest i feel guilty about it the whole time but i can't stop. your mom was wrong to say what she did, i'm sure it didn't help.
