Today, I took my boyfriend of 2 years on a family vacation to meet my family for the first time. We all got really drunk and he made out with my dad. This was day one and we don't fly back for another 16 days. FML

He...did what? Ok, I never understood why people feel the need to drink themselves into oblivion and to lose control of their rational mind. They are both at fault for doing such an inappropriate thing! I'm sorry for you and for your mother. To be clear, I don't condemn this because they are both men, but because it's a stupid think to do.

How does this even happen? I understand doing semi stupid shit while drunk...but just completely losing your ******* mind? What the hell was he drinking? And was your dad a willing participant or was he just as horrified as you must have been?

From the wording of the FML, I think the dad was a participant because it says "he made out with my dad." Instead of "he tried to make out with my dad." That's how I see it anyway, I could be wrong though.

From the wording of the FML you can't possibly guess whether or not the boyfriend or the dad showed a change of sexual orientation while they were drunk.

Drunkeness lowers your inhibitions and can make you do some pretty stupid shit, however your sexuality does usually sty the same so the boyfriend and the dad have to have been open to pansexuality or Bisexuality to have made out.

Yeah it's awkward but to throw away a relationship of 2 years over something that happened while two people were blacked out drunk without talking about it. That's really harsh, and a bit over dramatic.
