The reason that topic hits me so hard is because my mom worked hard at her job during most of her pregnancy with me and after, unfortunately WHILE WORKING she busted up her shoulder so bad it couldn't heal properly. Because of that she had to stay home, but shoulder hurt her so bad she had to take medicine for chronic pain that made her go a little loopy, and it got to the point she didn't even relies when she was suffocating on her own pillow. She, MY MOM, died less than a year ago, two months before my birthday, I'm only fourteen. She died because of the pain her shoulder brought her, because of her working so hard. SO DON'T YOU DARE TELL ME WOMEN DO NOTHING!

But while the woman stays home, she cleans the house and takes care of the children she bothered to carry in her own body for 9 months, then shove them out and opening much smaller while in pain because she can't do anything. She can't even see her own feet! And the man doesn't feel the pain unless he has one of those compassion pregnancies or something. So don't use the pregnant thing against women. Now, if both parents work, who provides emtional support during a child's growth? The one who is there more often, usually the mom as she often has a closer bond with the kids she delivered. And the whole married thing doesn't apply. My MOM is the one who drives me to school, goes out and does the shopping, and runs most of the errands while my dad works. That is how my family works and functions. The whole vag excuse is just plain bull. And, as for saying men drive more so OF COURSE there are more statistical crashes, is also a load of bull. Why, may you ask? Because if two statistical groups are being compared, then they will equal it out. Statistical crashes could come from a groupd of 100 test drives, 50 men and 50 women, and see who crashed more and the severity of their crashes. THAT, my little troll, is how statistics are gotten for almost everything, with a test groupd to represent the general population. Oh, and by the way troll, I am female. Okay, this sexist thing went a little too far. The first person was obviously joking, and c'mon, we all need to laugh at ourselves sometimes. The second dude, went WAY too far saying woman are worthless. Then, some of the women went too far saying that women are obviously superior because they give birth, are more connected to children, and are all better drivers. Don't get me wrong, women are mostly the caretakers when it comes to birth, but men have some part in that, little as it may be, but a part. Second, it is a terrible thing to think that men are work drones while the mothers watch the children all day long and do work in the home. My father is MUCH more connected with me than my mom is. We get along well, but my father has had a larger influence on my life than my mom did. Lastly, it is even worse to assume women are all better drivers because statistics show they have less accidents. Sure, that is correct, but there are bad women drivers and good men drivers as well. I'm not saying that we men are better, of that we're worse, but that we should all be considered equal. SEE? NO SHOUTING! My beans have been spilled.

You're 14, you don't drive, therefor you own no one. Please don't comment on driving matters until you actually drive a vehicle and experience what it's like to be around bad drivers on the road. Men get into more accidents because they are more likely to take riskier chances, statistically. However, if you were to take statistics of drivers that aggravate other drivers on the road, I'd be willing to bet women are more often the aggressors. From personal experience when I am driving near a car that seems to be driving in a way that makes other drivers nervous, which includes but is not limited to: braking for no reason, swerving, impeding the flow of traffic, intentionally speeding up next to a merging lane as to not allow cars to merge ahead, etc. it is a women driver nearly 90% of the time. I did my own experiment, whenever i saw a car that was making me very nervous on the road i took note of what gender they were. Results? 3 of them were men (2 tailgating and one cut me off) and 26 were women. There were other cars that made me nervous/angry but i wasn't able to see the driver. I actually never saw the male driver who cut me off but it was a loud obnoxious ricer so i gave the vote to the male side. I'd say males tailgate more often but other than that when you see a driver who's getting you angry make your bet that its either someone really old, someone really young, and/or a women So in conclusion on average guys are like glasses (accident prone but indifferent otherwise) and women are like Styrofoam (not many accidents, but annoys the shit out of you when around). Being "worse drivers" is an opinion, therefor it cannot be a fact, but personally I see more drivers that upset me on the road than I see accidents so I'm giving my vote for overall worse drivers to women. Now if I could only learn to feed myself -_-.

I am a man, but I'm definitely not sexist. I can admit that women are superior to men sometimes, and sometimes it is the other way around. I'm not a good driver, but that doesn't mean all men are. My mom is a much better driver than my dad...then again, he hit a house once. But people need to accept there is no clear superiority in humanity, and grow up a little bit.

In Florida, where I think the OP might be from, the only requirement at age 18 is to pass the driving test. To receive a permit to drive under 18, you have to pass a road signs test. If you're moving from the permit to a license while still under 18, your parent needs to sign a paper saying that you've driven a certain amount of hours, but everyone just lies. I got my license at 16 without having driven more than an hour or two and it wasn't pretty.

I don't know where you live, but you do have to take the road test when you're over 18 where I live.

Where the hell do you live that you don't need to take the road test? State and county, please, so I know never to go there.

In Texas, parents can vouch for their kids so that they don't need to take the road test, regardless of the kid's age.

Texans aren't all awful drivers. Its all those college and high school students on beer and drugs that crash... Actually, statistics show 70% of fatal crashes in several states, including Texas, involved the last words of someone being "Hold my beer" or "Check this shit out."
